I turned ONE!
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
I heard you crying yesterday
and felt your heart-sent love
So I'm sending you this message
Now, from up above
 
You're wondering if I'll celebrate
My birthday (way up here)
I know you're missing me today
I feel your essence near
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
God planned a special day for me
He told me with a wink
He ordered me a special cake
(It's Angel food, I think)
 
I'm getting lots of hugs from God
He's really good at that
And every time that I walk by
He gives my head a pat
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Balloons will fly the streets for me
They float up through the clouds
And we have lots of clowns up here
They make us laugh out loud
 
 
There is a birthday carousel
Jeweled horses ride the wind
With music playing oh so sweet...
the magic never ends
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
I've made so many friends, you see
We laugh and play and sing
We ride our bikes and play jump rope
and we sleep in Angel's wings
 
We'll have our cake and icecream
and open gifts, surprise!
But we don't blow out the candles here

...This Time Last Year...
 
March 31st, 2007... God called me home at 11:11pm
Mommy felt me shake, but she didn't know my soul went to Heaven yet

April 1st, 2007... Mommy woke up and couldnt feel me move
She ate, drank Mountain Dew, laid on her sides, and even got in the shower,
but my heart stopped beating already.
She checked herself into the hospital around noon
and the doctors confirmed that I was in Heaven.

April 2nd, 2007... After 27 hours of labor I was laid on my Mommy's chest
Daddy screamed "Oh God" and Mommy told me "I'd be okay"
and that they were going to take me swimming in my new swim trunks Mommy just bought.

April 3rd, 2007... Mommy and Daddy left the hospital.
Mommy kept having anxiety attacks and Daddy couldn't believe I wasn't there.
Mommy's body ached and she could barely walk, but Mimi and Daddy were there to help.

April 4th, 2007... Mommy and Mimi came to the funeral home to see me
Daddy couldn't come, it was much too hard for him
The directors said it was almost unheard of to see a baby without discoloration
but I was perfect, truly an angel. I had even coloring from my head to my toes.
Mommy said I looked like I was sleeping.
She kissed me and talked to me and told me she wouldn't ever give up.
She wouldn't say goodbye because I am always near.
